Summary: A successful control of Poplar in the nurseries against rust Melampsora sp. was obtained by use of Cu-oxichloride 1 %, while a Zineb preparation (Dithan 0,3 %) was rather uneffective. A spraying at the end of May to the primary infection, and two other at the end of June and July gave satisfactory control.
