| Summary: The article presents the modes of stockwood density for some autochthonous trees (sessile oak, beech, hornbeam, birch and white poplar) of various lengths and their dependence on the period of natural drying.The original weighing during winter, spring and summer, as well as 140 days of drying in natural environmental conditions have a significant influence on the density of stockwood. The research results are presented with mathematical functions (logarithm function) and with graphs.
