Proceedings "Deve SUMMARY: This paper deals with the research of the skidder Timberjack 240 C in timber skidding in regeneration fellings at working sites in hilly conditions. The achieved effective time in final felling is 81.44 % of total time consumption. The average loads per cycle range between 4.24 m3 in final felling. The achieved daily output is on the average 64.11 m3/day. The average travel speeds of unloaded tractors are 4.96 km/h and of the loaded ones 3.55 km/h. The travel speed is mostly affected by longitudinal slopes of strip roads and by the type of skidding considering the slope gradient. The average speeds of pulling the choker are 1.33 km/h and of load winching 1.03 km/h respectively. Total cycle time scheduled for the tractor at the site, considering the skidding distance, ranges between 20.25 min and 35.26 min. Fora distance of 300 + 100 m total cycle time is 27.76 min at the worksite. Time standard at the site A ranges between 4.77 min/m3 and 8.31 min/m3. At a distance of 300 + 100 m, the time standard is 5.95 min/m3 respectively. Daily output at the site ranges between 100.54 m3/day and 57.75 m3/day. For a distance of 300 + 100 m a higher output is achieved at the site and it amounts to 80.63 m3/day. In the final felling for a winching distance of 100 m to 700 m at the site, the costs range between 18.61 HRK/m3 and 32.41 HRK /m3. For the winching distance of 300 +100 meter, the costs amount to 23.21 HRK/m3 for the site. Research results confirm the skidders work area, as the highest efficiency and the lowest cost are achieved in final felling. |
