površinama i mogućnosti uzgoja divljači te izradom plana i programa

ovog održanog u Nitri, mogla prezentirati dostignuća Hrvatske u farmskom

State of the Farm Breeding of Game in Europe

Summary

An international seminar on farm breeding of game in Europe, held on
14—17th September 1993 in Nitra (Slovak Republic), gave an account of the
state and perspectives of farm breeding of game.

Particularly important is the development of the farm for the breeding of
deer game as it has been the most numerous in breeding so far, and shows the
best perspective in farm breeding. Farm breeding of game in Europe has existed
since the beginning of the eighties. During the last 12—13 years, even less in
some countries, very good results have been achieved. According to the results
for 1991 in some countries, with the most developed farm breeding, there were
5,926 farms with approximately 156,700 heads of fallow deer and red deer.
