Application of Fluvial — Thermic Indexes of Climate Favourability for Forest Vegetation Summary Pluvial-thermic indexes of climate favourability for forest vegetation can be successfully applied to numerous ecological investigations in forestry. The article presents a method of application for determination of the value of generally beneficial functions of a forest, state of health of forest stands and energetic balance of forest types. For every listed possibility for application scientific achievements of modern investigation are shown up to the present time and proposals made for further investigations in anticipation of new achievements.
