The Influence of Weather Conditions on the Occurrence of Forest Fires in the Area of Littoral Karst During 1983 Summary Due to the great number of forest fires iin the area of littoral karsft, apart from other preventive measures, a daily report on metereorological condiiitiions and the danger and possibility of forest fire occurrence and its spreading was introduced in the summer period of 1983. The linfoirmatdon data were given by the Republic Hydrometereological Institute oi Croatia. This paper presents weather faciors constituting the danger and gives meteorological fire indexes computed by Canadian methodology. 44 5 |
