ZNANSTVENI I STRUČNI SKUPOVI DRUGI INTERNACIONALNI SIMPOZIJ O PROBLEMLMA BALKANSKE FLORE I VEGETACIJE U Istambulu, s ekskurzijom u Nacionalni park Uludag, od 3. do 10. srpnja ove, 1978, godine održan je DRUGI INTERNACIONALNI SIMPOZIJ O PROBLEMIMA BALKANSKE FLORE I VEGETACIJE. Nizozemska 3 Ukupno: . . . . 233 z,astave iSalkansJtin zemalja su bile poredane s desna na lijevo ovim redom: TURSKA — RUMUNIJA — JUGOSLAVIJA — GRČKA — BUGARSKA — ALBANIJA (SI. 1). RAD SIMPOZIJA Rad Simpozija odvijao se u 3 sekcije i 12 podsekcija, već prema užim specijalizacijama. Referati su čitani a bili su često popraćeni s dijapozitivima, kartama, slikama, grafikonima i skicama, te se nakon toga vodila diskusija o pojedinom problemu. Nakon završetka teoretskoga rada bila je organizirana stručna ekskurzija u Nacionalni parlk Uludag koji je udaljen oko 250 km od Istanbula. Put nas je vodio preko novog mosta na Bosporu koji povezuje Evropski i Azijski kontinent. Preko Izmita i Burse stigli smo u Nacionalni park Uludag koji je ujedno i skijaški centar toga dijela Male Azije. Hoteli su smješteni na 1.9,65 m n. v., a najviši vrh se nalazi na 2.505 m. Vrlo je interesantna zonacija vegetacije u Turskoj. Evropski dio Turske je sav obrađen i služi za proizvodnju žita (pšenice) to je ustvari žitnica Turske. Od šumske vegetacije nalazimo samo poneke ostatke šumica iz girupe hrasta kitnjaka. Azijski dio Turske je brdovit i gorovit. Matičnu podlogu tvore stare magmatske stijene kisele reakcije. Uz Mramorno more nalazimo mediteransku vegetaciju i jako puno kultiviranih maslinjaka. Nešto više javlja se šuma hrastova (SI. 2) i pitomog kestena a na nju se odmah nadovezuje zona krimskog crnog bora (Pinus nigra Lipsky) koja tu tvori suvisle fitocenoze. Iznad ovih šuma nadovezuie se Bornmüleriana Mattf.) koja tvori suvislu zonu od 1.000—2.000 m n. v. (SI. 3). 511 |

Rauš Na prijelazu od borovih prema jelovim šumama nalazi se azijska bukva koja zna biti često pomiješana s kninskim borom i azijskom jelom pa tako te tri vrste tvore jednu stabilnu fitocenozu. U tom dijelu M. Azije (Uludag) azijska jela tvori granicu šumske vegetacije (SI. 4). Iznad nje se razvijaju samo planinske suvati i pašnjaci. Simpozij je uspio u potpunosti, a domaćinima zahvaljujemo na dobroj organizaciji i gostoprimstvu. REFERATI IZ JUGOSLAVIJE Učesnici iz Jugoslavije podnijeli su ukupno´ 45 referata od čega je šumarsku problematiku tretiralo 5 referata. To su: 1. E. Mayer (Ljubljana) und P. Jerković (Sarajevo): The Diatoms of spings in the Karst of Herzegovina (Jugoslavia). 5. S. Džekov (Skopje): Die Gattung Crataegus L. in der SR Mazedonien. 6. A.-Z. Lovrić (Zagreb) and B. Korica (Zagreb): Ecosystems, adaptation, and diversity in coastal Karst. 7. M. Janković (Belgrade) and R. Bogojević (Belgrade): Microclimatic characteristics of some important and herbaceuos communities in Serbia. |
