LITERATURA 1. Summary A COMPARATIVE TIME STUDY IN THE FELLING AND PRIMARY CONVERSION BY THE STOP-WATCH TIME STUDY AND WORK SAMPLING METHOD The author presents in his paper the results of a comparative time study of one and the same work by a crew in the felling and primary conversion by applying the stop-watch time study and work sampling method. In the field was carried out in detail the timing of work by the stop-watch time study method, while the activity sampling of the same work was done later by applying three different observation intervals. Through parallel recording the work of 3-men crew in felling and primary conversion — by employing the work sampling and stop-watch time study — the following results were achieved: — Established were the structures of the measured work time by applying the stop-watch time study and work sampling method. — Established were the work place times according to the units of converted assortments. — Established were the probability and accuracy of the results obtained, also the deviation of results obtained by the work sampling method from the corresponding results obtained by the stop-watch time study. — Computed were the numbers of observations needed to establish the structure of work place time with a 95Vo confidence level and ±5;´/o absolute accuracy. |
