are developed on pleistocene loams, clays or clayey loams of the mountainous regions of Dilj, Krndija, Požeška gora, etc. The structural composition of the soil: A-A:Jg-Bg-C or A-A3(g)-B-C, A-Eg-Bg-C or A-E(g)-B-C. They are found under the forest of Sessile Oak and Common Hornbeam. Sessile Oak and Turkey Oak or Sessile Oak and Hungarian Oak. B) Terrestrial and Semiterrestrial Soils of Lowland-Hilly Relief of the Marginal Parts of the Central Mountains and the Požega Valley (under approx. 230 m. a. s. 1.) a) Terrestrial Soils Rendzinas and Pararendzinas of the structural composition of the profile A-AC-R. They are found on hilly, marginal parts of the ground. Pararenzinas are developed mainly at the inclination of approx. 5—12«; Eutric Brown Soils, developed on loess, on loesslike sediments, on pleistocene loams, on limy marls, limestones, etc. of the mountainous part of the relief; Ilimerized Soils on loess or on pleistocene loams and clays, and on the loesslike sediments of the Požega Valley of the mildly laid terraces of the foothills. The structural composition of the profile: ArA3-B-C; Pseudogleys (Planosols) are developed on pleistocene loams, clayey loams, and on the loesslike sediments of the terraces of the lowland relief. The structural composition of the profile: A-A3g-Bg-C or A-Eg-Bg-C. A discription is given of lessive-pseudogleys, and of slighty and moderately expressed pseudogleys. b) Semiterrestrial Soils of the Narrow Orljava and Londža River Valleys and of Mountain Creeks Alluvial Soils (Fluvisols) and Diluvial-Alluvial Soils, calcareous or non-calcareous. A discription is given of ungleyed, slightly and moderately gleyed soils; Mineral-Hydromorphic Gleyed and Gley Soils. Small areas under these soils are found in the Londža and Orljava River Valleys. In the Londža Valley they are under the Pedunculate Oak forest (forest fragments of Querco- Genistetum elatae Horv.). |
