Na tim površinama ne bi trebalo intervenirati nikakvim kemijskim
sredstvima.


Sa ekonomskog gledišta u ovoj situaciji nikakove represivne mjere
nisu opravdane.


2. U toku 1972. g. preporuča se uklanjanje svih sušaca, tj. sanitarna
sječa i potrebni uzgojni radovi, a u toku 1973. g. preventivne zaštitne mjere.
3. Neophodno je potrebno podići nekoliko opažačkih tornjeva da bi se
moglo pratiti stanje zaraze štetnika.
4. Dobro organizirati opažačku službu na području Gorskog Kotara
Like.
5. Fenološka opažanja treba da vrše sve šumarije. To mora biti stručna
obaveza svakog revirnika.
6. Katedra za zaštitu šuma, u suradnji sa drugim institucijama, radit
će na formulaciji efikasnog biološkog i kemijskog sredstva za suzbijanje
štetnika u stadiju gusjenice. Kemijska sredstva voljni smo primjeniti samo
u slučaju ako se radi o vrlo vitalnim sastojinama.
Summary


THE SPECTRUM OF CERTAIN PESTS ON SILVER FIR
IN THE S. R. OF CROATIA


The author reports on the results of her investigations on the spectrum
of insect pests in the Fir stands of the territory of the S. R. of Croatia.


In 1971 the author discovered in this country in the Forest Discrict
of Fužine, Forest Enterprise Delnice, the insect species Epinotia (Steganoptycha)
pusillana Peyar. syn. Epiblema pusillana — Eucosma p.


On the Fir trees was noted an increase in the density of the population
of polyphagous leaf-roller species which have so far caused greater damage
only to broadleaved tree species. The author found the folloving insect
species: Ar chips xylostcana L., Ar chips podana Sc., and Pandemis cerasana
Hb.


Now are permanently present and occurring locally in great numbers
the following loopermoths — Geometridae: Thera variata Den. et.
Schiff. — (Larentia v. — Cidaria v.), and Püngeleria capreolaria Den. et
Schiff. — (Numeria a).


More frequent and major damage is caused by the Fir gallgnat —
Agevillea abietis Past. — fam. Cecidomyidae, and by the four-legged
Acarinae (Eriophyidae).


On younger Fir trees, over the whole of the S. R. of Croatia, great
damage is caused by the Fir shoot louse — Mindarus abietinus Koch. (fam.
A p h i d i d a c), while the Silver Fir chermes — Dreyfusia nüsslini C. B.
occurs sporadically — on individual plants.
