Les predateurs les plus nombreux et utiles sont ceux de la famille des
Cocclnellidae (Coccinella septempunctata L., C. conglobata L., Adalia bipunctata
L., Adonia variegata Goeze), Pentatomidae (Rhaphigaster nebulosa Poda,
Arma custos F.) et Carabidae (Calosoma inquisitor L. et C. sycophanta Web.).
Ces deux Carabes mentionnes ci-dessus ont demontre une efficacite tres con
siderable pendant une invasion de chenilles de Himera pennaria L. (Geometridae)
et Monima incerta Hufn. (Noctuidae) dans une plantation de peuplier au
printemps de 1963.
