NATURE AND FUNCTION OF THE RENTAL IN FORESTRY


SUMMARY


In this article are discussed the phenomenon and function of the rental in forestry
from the standpoints of the forest economic organizations and the national economy.
Primarily the author discusses the theoretical principles of priče formation for wood
on the market, which was treated by him in one of his earlier studies (The law of
the value in forestry, Zagreb 1&57). Deductions made from the lawfulness of priče
formation for wood are applied also to problems such as assessment of the business
results of economic organizations, characteristics of the expenses in forestry, problems
of taking away of the rental to the benefit of society (State), and financing in forestry.


Having discussed the problem the author comes to the canclusiom that the rental
(the stumpage priče) is an objective economic category, and that it fs necessary to
assess its magnitude, because it irepresents an Amipor´tant economic means for the
distribution of the surplus value between society (State) and the economic organization.
