surplus of work (of product). To calculate the price, ihe taikes the formula (2) where
C means the price of wood in block in forest, S sociality ´necessary expenditure in the
production of timber good — of the yearly growrth (Z), E means the quantity of timber
or yearly growth (Z) results of forest cutting and of earlier thinning out and cleaning
of trees in all ages and all thicknesses.


Owing to abnormal conditions prevailing in our forest, some enterprises have at


disposal a regular yearly quantity of timber E; = Z .


By equalizing the above formulas, the writer determines the following dispro


portions:


for E = Z, pi + pri + vi = P2 + pr2 + V2


for E > Z, pi + pri + vj = p2 4- pr2 + va


for E < Z, pi + pri + vi = p2 + pr2 + v2


where pi + pn + vi represents the expenditure oif the iregullar in connection with the


regular quantity of disponible timber (E), where p2 + pi"2 + V2 means socially necessery


expenditure in production Of the yearly growth (Z).


As the enterprises in timber industry which have E > Z, respectively E < Z, are
getting by salle higher or lower prices for each unlit Of production; k e. CE < Cz respectively
C E > Cz ,the writer proposes some concrete measures and method for eliminating
these disproportions. These methods aire of biological, tehnical and economic
financial nature. Finnalla ,the writer states that this too a method for fixing normal
quantity of timber and other requirements in connection with a normal forest.

UZGOJ BAGREMA U SVRHU POVEĆANJA PROIZVODNJE
RUDNIČKOG DRVETA


Nakon donošenja iz Amerike (oko god. 1600.) mnogo se bagrem udomaćio
u nekim zemljama Evrope. Razlog tome je brzi rast i velika upotrebljivost
njegova drveta. Bagremovima se upotrebljava za vinogradarsko
kolje, telefonske, telegrafske i elektrovodne stupove, stupove za hmelj,
kao građevno drvo, za krovne konstrukcije, za kolarske i stolarske svrhe,
za ogfijev, a naročito za radničko drvo. Velika je vrijednost bagrema i za
pčelarstvo, jer daje obilan i vrlo dobar med.


Bagrem su ranije kod nas uzgajali većinom privatnici u čistim sastojinama
i gajevima, u svrhu proizvodnje sitnih sortimenata potrebnih u
domaćinstvima. Osim toga bagrem se upotrebljavao i za vezanje tla u bujičniim
područjima, na vododerinama i opuzinama, u parkovima, drvoredima,
uz mede posjeda, uz ruboke šuma, negdje za popunjavanje sječina, a
i pošumljavanje površina čistih sječa i goleti. Minulih godina bagrem je
obilnije sađen negdje i na površinama koje nisu povoljne za njegov uzgoj.


Obzirom na veliku upotrebljivost treba bagrem kod nas što više proširiti
u uslovima, koji odgovaraju njegovim biološkim zahtjevima. Naročito
je važan njegov uzgoj s gledišta velike potražnje industrij e za
rudničkim drvetom. Potreba na rudničkom drvetu jie tolika, da se u posljednje
vrijeme pojavljuju zahtjevi da se uzgajaju i posebne sastojine za
