Svi ti radovi predviđeni su godišnjim prijedlozima sječa te prijedlozima obnove i njege, ali i ostali elaborati za gospodarenje i uređenje tih šuma treba da obuhvate glavne smjernice takovih radova. Pravilna primjena pojedinih uzgojnih mjera kod naših pfebornih šuma prigodom opsežnih radova, koji se danas u njima vrše, od velike je važnosti za budućnost tih šuma. Samo sa poznavanjem tih šuma mogu se ovi zadaci izvršiti tako, da se sa što manje štete izvrše opsežne sječe, te da se očuva što veća sposobnost tih šuma za budući njihov uzgoj. Sve jačim sječama u našim šumama i u vezi s time otvaranjem sve većih kompleksa tih šuma izgradnjom novih sistema puteva, postaje zadatak uzgoja sve opsežniji. Istodobno se pojačava i intenzitet cjelokupnog uzgoja i radova na obnovi i njezi napose kao posljedica tih sječa. Sve ovo, opsežniji radovi uzgoja šuma, pojačani intenzitet tih radova. i izmjena načina uzgoja, sili nas da kod gospodarenja tim šumama daleko veću važnost pridajemo obnovi i njezi šume, nego je to bilo ranije. THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SELECTION-FORESTS AND DIRECTIONS FOR THEIR REGENERATION AND CULTIVATION In this article the author divides the selection-forets into three stages with respect to their development. They are: beech stands with individual fir trees (in the picture Stande of the type A) with very good conditions for regneration with fir; stands with dominatinü fir trees and individual beech trees or groups of beech (in the picture stands of the type B) and typical selection-forests of fir and beech (stands of the type C in the picture). The study of the natural development of stands in the selection-forests in Gorski Kotar permits him to conclude that through the natural process one type of the stand i» transformed into a new one,. Sylvicultural and management measures in the selection-fore^must be undertaken in such a way to guaranty their success and to form good stands, which will ensure the production of qualitative timber and give chance for the correct regeneration of woods. The successful execution of such measures, according to the author, depends on a solid knowledge of the present stage of development of the selection-forests, and economic measures for the future must be based on their present state 290 |
