THE FUNCTION AND THE NECCESSARITIES OF BUILDING OF
SHELTERBELTS IN THE AUTONOME PROVINCE OF VOJVODINA


In this article, after taske of 5-years Plan´s developement of the national economy
of People´s Republic of Serbia in the years 1947—il951, which relates to the
Autonome Province of Vojvodina, and where the building of 10.000 ha of shelter-belts
ie planed, too, the author treats this actuel question.


Having described the climatic characteristics of Vojvodina, the author brings
out the action of forest to the particulate elements of the clyma, and the neccessarity
of building of shelterbelts in Vojvodina,


The committee, which had the task to study the question of cultivation of forest-
protecting zones in Vojvodina, fixed as follows:


1. The regions the most threatenned (South of Banat, and South-East of Synnia).
2. The dangeroueest winds.
3. The kinds of trees and bushes, which must be used for plantation and
4. The succession of building oif zones in respect to the property of the ground.
The task of the further researching works in: to collect the own dates about
the width, the distance and the structure of the shelterbelts the preparation of the
soil and the technic of the execution, building cultivation, regulation and protection
of the shelterbelts about incomes from the protected superfaces etc.

ULOGA ŠUMARSTVA U BORBI ZA POVEĆANI I STABILAN
PRINOS POLJOPRIVREDNIH KULTURA U SSSR-U


Ovaj članak je informativnog karaktera. Svrha mu
je da ukratko, uz neke podatke, upozna čitaoca sa najnovijom
odredbom Sovj. vlade i CK SKP(b) od 20. X. 1948
sa historijatom kao i s problematikom, koja u SSSR-u
stoji u vezi sa borbom, za povećanje žetvenog prinosa
južnih poljoprivrednih zona evropskog dijela SSSR-a.


Uvod


Najnovija odluka CK SKP(b) i Sovj. vlade o poduzimanju široko zasnovanih
mjera u borbi za visoki i trajni prinos poljoprivrednih kultura
na jugu i jugoistoku evropskog dijela SSSR-a ima svoju dugu i zanimivu
prethistoriju. Ona govori o borbi društvenih snaga protiv elementarnih
prirodnih poteškoća, o borbi za što veću ljetinu, za uklanjanje opasnosti
od gladi i neimaštine.


U toj borbi sa prirodom nisu se uvijek jednako angažirale ljudske
snage i sposobnosti. Poznato je da je tek socijalistička revolucija 1917
god. dala potrebne-uvjete za uspješno planiranje i izvođenje golemih radova
na tom području.
