From mechanical properties of plywood the author described by researches of Forest Products Laboratory, Madison, and O. Kraemer, the dates about the buckling strength, the tensile strength, an the modulus of elasticity of plywood. After this the author put in comparison the all-veneer plywood of beech sua birch by Shahnazarov´s, W. Küch´s and O. Kraemer´s researches. After all the author resumed the fundamental rules of the composition of plywood. In conclusion the author proposes the control of the quality of plywood. This control of the quality could be arreached only by standard researching of physical and mechanical properties of plywood. .... ... ..........
